Notepad ++

I am big fan of Notepad ++ for any file editing or modifying as it’s open source and no need to pay anything to anyone. I knew many cool and handy features of it however you need to explore it when you get a chance!

- Finding the pattern in the set of files
- Drag and drop
- Spell check
- Supporting of many file formats
- Plug-ins
- Quick comparison of two files and lot more!

In many of the companies like Oracle, Microsoft, IBM and all; we should not use any non-licensed products/tools for your official work. Once, searched on the internet and found about this Notepad ++.

As it supports, multi tabbed way of files maintaining files in it and you may don’t know where you are at times! So, I have customized the shortcut mapper in such a way that I will get to know where I am by mapping below three –
- Used full file path to the clipboard
- File name to the clipboard
- Current directory path to the clipboard
